yesterday was a great day. ivan & i played lots of card games, relaxed & managed to spend time with both our families & talk to our dads! i love my dad a whole, whole lot! he's been a very important figure in my life & someone that i could always relate to . . . sometimes too much {cue bad pun jokes & the weird habit of throwing things when you try to pick them up}. as a few of my siblings & i were reminiscing about our less than orthodox childhood i couldn't help but think that i had a pretty good one and a really great dad. i love you dad!
